I sit alone, alone a wreck
With memories I won’t soon forgot
Oh do I, do I, have regrets
Of promises broken, of promises kept

Even with a fortune, I can’t pay the debt
Of a heart that’s stuck like a bird in a net
Time will pass from the day we met
And I’ll pray to God as the sun does…
